For many consultants, the core of their consulting engagements is training. Some consultants think in order to shape their business around training, they have to have more curriculum, an army of trainers, and a whole e-learning component to reach more people.

If that’s what you want to do, incredible. Go for it. But that’s not the only way to serve your clients. You can just give them advice, and do no additional work for them, and still make millions of dollars in revenue. You have unique expertise and insights, so you don’t need e-learning or curriculum, or an enormous team or anything at all.
